Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut Leaker Claims PS5 Version is Way Better than PS4 Version

A leaker that grabbed an early copy of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut claims that the PS5 version of the game has been greatly improved compared to the original one.

The leaker is someone from the Ghost of Tsushima Facebook group and shared this story there. According to him, he was looking around in his local Walmart and accidentally found a PS5 version of the Director’s Cut. He rushed and bought the game right away while the staff was still oblivious that they have selling it way ahead of release. His friend went back to the store, but it was already taken off the floor, so he was really lucky.

Details about the leaker’s gameplay experience was then shared. He described the draw distance is incredible just like how Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales had. The haptic feedback, he said, on the DualSense feels “incredible”. He also praised Sucker Punch for further improving the game even though the PS4 version running the PS5 was already great with the 60fps.

Aside from the main improvement, the leaker then shared some new implementations with the Director’s Cut. He revealed that duels and missions can be replayed now, which will be great for those who want to relive them all over again even after completing everything.

The leaker revealed that as of the moment Legends is still locked, but he did confirm that there are two new survival maps and there will be more Iyo chapters to enjoy.

Lastly, he teased that if everyone loved the opening to the main game with the title card while riding a horse, then it will be even better with the introduction to Iki Island.

We have a lot to look forward to when Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut officially launches on August 20, 2021 for PS4 and PS5.
