Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team, has now made a statement in regards to ever-evolving Silent Hill 2 Remake Rumors.
Babieno recently spoke with media outlet IGN at Polish games conference Digital Dragons. He has now responded to the big rumors about possibly the next entry of the franchise, the Silent Hill 2 Remake.
“We can’t comment on anything we are doing because we appreciate our relationship with our partners, of course,” Babieno replied. “So we can’t [say] anything. We will make an announcement about our future projects as soon as we can. So then you will know much more.” Chuckling, he added, “Officially.”
Babieno also insisted that whatever game their studio releases, it will still be a Bloober Team title. He is possibly talking about the partnership of their studio with Konami, which got announced last year. Since both of them are making a collaboration, it is no wonder that many fans are already speculating it will be a Silent Hill title. This could be the unannounced project Babieno that he mentioned.
There have been many rumors buzzing around recently of a possible Silent Hill 2 Remake where it will have reworked puzzles, new endings, and more content compared to the original version. If Bloober Team is working on this possible remake then the upcoming announcement will be worth the wait.
