After Sony Interactive Entertainment declared the end of the PlayStation 5 shortage, it seems there will be two new PS5 bundles soon.
With the alleged success of SIE over the PS5 supply shortage, the game company quickly released PS5 bundles to meet the demand. There was the Horizon Forbidden West PS5 bundle which was few in number. The next was the God of War Ragnarök PS5 bundle which was sold a lot and lately the main stock in retail stores. There were other PS5 bundles as well but not that popular like the Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and FIFA 23 PS5 bundles.
A new rumor has now appeared online claiming that there will be new PS5 bundles coming in. According to Twitter user MauroNL, SIE will introduce two new PS5 bundles in early February. He says this new information he got came from retail listings from EB Games from Australia.
The user revealed that these new PS5 bundles would be the PS5 Digital and Disc Editions but with two controllers included. Note that this is not the same as previous bundles that another controller is offered by retail stores as an add-on. These are completely new PS5 bundles and their console model numbers are CFI-1216A and CFI-1216B. CFI-1216A has the same model number as the one sold in the God of War Ragnarök PS5 bundle. A second controller is included inside the box.
A PS5 DualSense controller is priced at $69.99, which is a bit expensive so adding it together with a bundle would be convenient for new owners. It is also great that there is a Digital Edition bundle to choose from.
No official word yet from SIE, but if this rumor is to be believed, an announcement might get released soon.
