Flying off the Shelves is one of the side quests that players can complete in Hogwarts Legacy. Cressida Blume needs some help in getting back all of her books that have flown inside the library after casting the wrong charm on them.

How to unlock Flying off the Shelves side quest
To unlock the Hogwarts Legacy Flying off the Shelves side quest, you must first complete the Defence Against the Dark Arts Class main quest. You must have also completed the Charms Class main quest to learn the Accio spell which will be needed in this quest.
Flying off the Shelves side quest Walkthrough
After completing the needed quests, Cressida Blume will then become available to talk to at the Central Hall. Talk to Cressida to start the quest.

Talk to Cressida
Talk to Cressida at the Central Hall to know that she needs help in retrieving all of her books. She has accidentally casted the wrong charm on them, and now all of her books have started flying on their own.
Collect Cressida’s flying books from the library
Head downstairs and take the door on the right to get into the library. You should immediately see one of the books flying around in the middle part of the library. Get as close as possible to it, then use Accio to grab it from the air.
There are three books to get on the ground floor of the library, while the other two can be found on the upper floor. Check in between the bookshelves or cast Revelio to reveal their current position.
Talk to Cressida
Once you have retrieved all five books, head back to Cressida to complete the side quest.
