The Raccoon is one of the wild animals that live within the Forgotten Valley in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. This raccoon sometimes visits the valley and appears to just hang around a certain spot, although its spotting is known to bring good luck for the day. Read ahead as we talk about the raccoon and what it means to spot one in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
Raccoon Location
The Raccoon can usually be found at Vesta’s Farm, near the windmills. There’s no definite time when it appears and it can appear randomly throughout all the seasons.
What does the Raccoon do?
The Raccoon, like the other wild animals that visit the valley from time to time, is known to signify that you’ll get lucky results from a particular activity throughout the day. In the case of the Raccoon, if it is present, fishing at the river (Lower River) near Vesta’s Farm will have improved chances of getting larger fishes. So if you see this furry fellow, spend some time to cast your line into the river.
Other wild animals that bring good luck are the following:
- Lizard – Forest; indicates good luck at the Upper River.
- Owl – Sprite Tree; indicates good luck at the Goddess Spring.
- Turtle – Turtle Pond; indicates good luck at the Turtle Pond.
- Chihuahua – Dig Site; indicates good luck at the Dig Site.
The Raccoon also plays a small role in one of Flora’s events.
Can you adopt the Raccoon?
Sadly, you still cannot adopt the raccoon and bring it back home as a farm pet. There are no other interactions that can be done with it, but you can take pictures of or with it.
