There are several burrow holes, rocky crevices, and similar small sized holes that can be found within Baldur’s Gate 3. These holes often lead to secret areas or shortcuts to other places, but due to their size, players will have to think of ways to squeeze through them.
Read ahead as we talk about the different ways of going through these small holes in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Ways of how to pass through burrow holes or rocky crevices
So far, there are only a few ways of how to pass through small holes in the overworld or in dungeons:
- Enter as halflings or gnomes or use Disguise Self as one
- Wild Shape transform into a cat
- Cast Gaseous Form
Enter as halflings or gnomes or use Disguise Self as one
If your character is a halfling or a gnome, you can simply go through these holes without doing anything extra. As an alternative, if you have Shadowheart in the party or anyone that can put on a disguise, they can use the Disguise Self skill to disguise themselves as a halfling or a gnome and it would still work.
Wild Shape transform into a cat
Druids can shapeshift into a cat by using Wild Shape and it will allow them to slip through the small holes.
Cast Gaseous Form
Gaseous Form allows the user to pass through any size of hole on top of its defensive perks. The spell can be learned by Sorcerers, Warlocks, and Wizards. Druids who play as the Circle of the Spores subclass will be able to learn the spell at level 5.
