Find Mol is an objective that’s part of the Investigate the Beach quest in Baldur’s Gate 3 that has you looking for a specific NPC who can be pretty hard to find. The game gives very little indication of where Mol might be hiding, so it’s easy to get lost. We made this guide to help you find Mol in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Where to Find Mol in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Mol can be found in the Tiefling Hideout at Emerald Grove. You’ll first have to talk to Doni in The Hollow and pass the Persuasion Check before he’ll reveal the Concealed Hatch that leads to the hideout. Mol herself can be found inside.
The objective to find Mol will begin after you meet Mirkon in the Secluded Cove and driven out the harpies controlling him. This is part of the Investigate the Beach quest for the Druid Grove. You’ll need to roll a Wisdom Check of 5 to snap out of the harpies mind control and then a Charisma Check of 10 to drown out the harpies. Mirkon will remain under their control until after you fight them off.
After you’ve saved Mirkon from certain death, he’ll thank you and tell you should meet Mol who’ll be grateful for your assistance. This is where Mirkon will send you to Doni who you can find in The Hollow northwest of the Emerald Grove. Doni is a child Tiefling with two horns and tattered clothes. Unfortunately, he’s also mute so he can’t talk.
You can tell Doni that you want to see the “Dragon’s Lair” which is the phrase Mirkon gave you or you can use a Persuasion Check to get him to reveal it to you. Doni will then open the Concealed Hatch behind him. Click on the hatch and it’ll take you underground to the Tiefling’s Hideout.
Inside the Tiefling’s Hideout you’ll find Mol. She’s a young Tiefling with an eyepatch who thanks you for saving Mirkon. She’ll then ask for your help in getting revenge by stealing an idol for her. And that’s it, you’ve completed the objective to Find Mol in Baldur’s Gate 3.
