Nintendo has announced that it will no longer release new content for the popular mobile game Mario Kart Tour soon.
According to ResetEra user Poltergust, Nintendo quietly announced that it will officially end the official content add-ons for Mario Kart Tour, a popular mobile game. Players will still be able to enjoy the game and play, but no newer content will be coming in.
“From October 4 on, tours will consist of content from tours that have appeared before,” the announcement states. “No new courses, drivers, karts, or gliders will be added following the Battle Tour starting October 4. We hope you continue to enjoy playing Mario Kart Tour.”
Just like mentioned above, Nintendo made it clear that the game is NOT ending at all. The game company will still support the game with tour events going forward and its servers will not shut down anytime soon. Future content will be the previous ones that the game introduced in the past, which means there will be nothing to collect or experience for players.
Mario Kart Tour is out now on mobile devices.
