The Planet Crafter: How to Construct the Biodome

The Biodome is a structure in The Planet Crafter which allows players to work on revitalizing the planet’s flora and fauna. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to unlock and use the Biodome in The Planet Crafter.

How to unlock the Biodome in The Planet Crafter

To unlock the Biodome, you will need to raise the planet’s heat to 100.00 nK. Afterwards, it will be unlocked and it can be accessed from the Build menu.

To build the Biodome, you will need the following materials:

    • x1 Seed Lirma
    • x2 Titanium
    • x2 Cobalt
    • x1 Aluminum
    • x3 Super Alloy

The Biodome has to be placed on clear ground, in the air, or be connected to an existing building’s passageway, provided that there are no obstructions on the space it will be occupying.

How to use the Biodome in The Planet Crafter

The Biodome requires 37 kW/s to operate, and it will produce 135 ppq/s of Oxygen when powered. Additionally, the terminal inside the Biodome can be accessed to view the Biomass Milestone Screen which shows the technologies that can be unlocked after reaching the different milestones.

It is not necessary to build the Biodome to unlock the technologies under the Biomass metric, however it can provide a good guide on the milestones of the subcategories of Biomass, such as Plants, Insects, and Animals.

As you progress in the game, you’ll gradually increase the planet’s heat. This is achieved by building various heat-generating machines. You can further speed up this process by using rockets. Once you raise the planet’s heat to 12 μK, you’ll unlock the Biodome T2.
