Silent Hill 2 Jacks Inn safe code featured

Escaping the Blue Creek Apartments in Silent Hill 2 Remake throws you into a chilling encounter with Pyramid Head. Though your handgun can momentarily stagger this imposing figure, your ultimate goal is to reach Rosewater Park. There, you’ll meet Maria, who leads you to the eerie Jack’s Inn. Inside, a locked safe holds a crucial item for your progress. This guide will walk you through the steps to find the safe code in Jacks Inn and claim your reward.

How to find the Jacks Inn Safe Code in Silent Hill 2 Remake?

Jacks Inn sits along Nathan Avenue. Upon entering with Maria, turn left and open the back door to the office. You’ll find the safe near the cash register, but it’s locked. A note on the reception desk mentions Room 107, hinting at the location of the code.

Head upstairs and locate Room 108. To its left, you’ll find a window with broken glass. Climb through and turn left, where a fragile wall can be found. Use your wooden plank to break through, granting you access to Room 107. Inside, you’ll discover the Toolbox Memo, the key to unlocking the safe.

Decoding the Toolbox Memo

To get the code for the safe in Jacks Inn, the Toolbox Memo has a note that says:

  • One, One Less
  • Three, One More
  • Eight, Three Less
  • Zero, One More

The note is a simple mathematical equation that can be understood as:

  • 1-1 = 0
  • 3+1 = 4
  • 8-3 = 5
  • 0+1 = 1

By solving these equations, you’ll arrive at the safe code: 0451. Input the code into the safe to obtain the Gate Key, which unlocks the gate on the left side of Jacks Inn. But beware! As soon as you retrieve the key, Maria will be attacked by a Lying Figure. Quickly turn around and prepare to defend her.

That’s everything you need to solve the puzzle and get the Jacks Inn safe code. If you’re looking for more Silent Hill 2 remake guides, we have you covered!
