Game company Nintendo has released a new firmware update for the old gen console Wii U after for so long.
A surprise firmware update was released recently for the console, update version 5.5.5. This was listed by Nintendo as “improving system stability.” Dataminer OatmealDome shared what the nitty gritty details of this update was. He said that it was some updates for the system’s SSL verification code, which powers the secure connections online.
It has been two and a half years or maybe more since the last update for the Wii U. Maybe Nintendo still cares for this old hardware.
