There are players wondering why their Halo Infinite Achievements haven’t unlocked for them despite completing all the prerequisite requirements. If you’re asking how to fix Halo Infinite Achievements not unlocking for you, you’ve come to the right place.
Achievements not unlocking properly can no doubt cause quite a lot of frustration especially for those who definitely earned some of the harder achievements that Halo Infinite offers. What’s going on? Is Halo Infinite bugged? How do you fix unlocking the Halo Infinite Achievements?
How To Fix Halo Infinite Achievements Not Unlocking
It isn’t that Halo Infinite Achievements aren’t unlocking, but the problem is that they unlock much too late. This can leave players wondering if they fulfilled the requirements properly as they’ll only find out much later when the game notifies them of the achievement.
This is something I’ve actually experienced. As I was playing the Halo Infinite campaign and having a blast, I suddenly got an achievement for what I did nearly an hour back. This confused me because I didn’t know why my achievement came so late.
343 has acknowledged this problem themselves and are looking into it.
For the time being, there is a work around if you’re excited to play and get achievements in Halo Infinite.
How to Fix Achievements Not Unlocking
If you’re playing on PC, you can easily get the achievements by running the Xbox app alongside Halo Infinite. The achievements pop up immediately this way and that solves the problem.
The issue is for Xbox consoles where the achievements pop up much later. For now, there doesn’t seem to be any work around and we have to wait for a hotfix from 343 to be able to solve the issue of Achievements not unlocking for Halo Infinite.
If you can for the moment, we recommend playing on PC if you really want to ensure you get those achievements.
