Wondering how to find all Chapter 9 Collectibles in A Plague Tale Requiem? Here, we’ll show you where to look for every hidden items and places you need to look out for as you travel to new regions, attempting to begin a new life and cure Hugo’s sickness.
Chapter IX – Tales and Revelations is Broken down into 7 sections: Exploration, Towards the Sanctuary, On the Mountain, Entering the Sanctuary, Day & Night, Phoenix, and Immersion. Read on, and we’ll break down exactly when and where each collectible can be found, from start to finish.
A Plague Tale: Requiem All Chapter 9 Collectibles Locations
There are 2 types of collectibles you can obtain in A Plague Tale: Requiem: Hugo’s Collection/Herbarium and Souvenirs. If you missed a collectible, don’t fret. As you go through the narrative, “Chapter Selection” becomes available in the Main Menu. This means you can replay chapters whenever you want to, and complete your collection. In addition, they are carried over to New Game+.
As such, Chapter 9 – Tales and Revelations contains 3 Souvenirs and 1 Hugo’s Herbarium, which are as follows:
- Souvenir 15 (A Thousan More Years)
- Souvenir 16 (Nice Screeching)
- Souvenir 17 (Tramontane)
- Hugo’s Herbarium 8 (Barn Owl)
Souvenir 15 (A Thousan More Years)
This can be found in Section 1 – Exploration, on the right side of the castle. After you exit the castle and reunite with Sophia, head down the stairs and turn right, follow the path until you reach a house near the bridge.
Look to your right and you’ll see a little fork in the road. Take that path and at the end you’ll find a tree. Interact with it to get this souvenir.
Souvenir 16 (Nice Screeching)
After obtaining the “A Thousand More Years” Souvenir, head over to the left side of the island by following the river path until you reach a small bridge with a man doing some fishing.
Turn around to find a small tower, see the image above for reference. Head inside that tower and climb to the highest floor, then go near the ledge for this souvenir.
Souvenir 17 (Tramontane)
This can be found in Section 2 – Towards the Sanctuary. After passing through the gate to Las Madres, continue along the main path up ahead and you’ll eventually reach a broken fort.
Now head over to the back, the door is locked so you need to burn the tall grass next to it (use a pot and combine it with fire). This will unlock a pathway for Hugo to crawl and open the door for you. Head inside and interact with the black goat for this souvenir.
Hugo’s Herbarium 8 (Barn Owl)
This can be found in Section 4 – Entering the Sanctuary. Follow the main path and sneak past the guards until you reach a broken tower.
Head inside and climb to the highest floor, climb a ledge, then turn right. Follow the path ahead until you come to another ledge but don’t drop down yet, stop and look on the ground to your left and pick up the Barn Owl feather.
