Objectives:
Talk to Etuwa in the Kinglor Nest at the top of Hometree
Make your way back to the Hometree and into the Kinglor Nest. Instead of Etuwa, you will meet Ka’nat instead. He tries to reason as to why he doesn’t want the Aranahe to get involved with the fight, and thus he is still adamant about staying away from it.
Find Etuwa to tell her Eetu is safe
Go down the Hometree and head west to meet up with Etuwa. She is with Nefika, and you tell them that Eetu is safe. Etuwa then shares her progress in trying to find out what is distressing the kinglor, but she cannot understand what the queen is trying to show her. You then offer your help, as you have knowledge of the Sky People.
Nefika then tells you that you have to get niktsyey for the ritual to connect with the queen, and it can be done by gathering a Swamp Hive Nectar.
Gather Swamp Hive Nectar to make niktsyey for the kinglor queen ritual
In order to find the Swamp Hive Nectar, open up your Hunter’s Guide and pin it to the material tracker. Then, make your way southwest of the Hometree by following The Threaded River to find where the nectar can be found.
Once you get to the area, you’ll see that the place is highly polluted, and the pollution is preventing you from harvesting the nectar. You call up Priya, and she suggests that you take care of the RDA facility nearby, which should clear up the pollution.
Defeat Gas Harvester Alpha in the Silk Woods to clear the pollution
Follow the marker to reach the Gas Harvester Alpha RDA site. It is heavily guarded by plenty of soldiers and AMPs. You will either need to focus on the objectives while being stealthy, or you can clear out the enemies first. This encounter can also be easily cleared through co-op play. Be on the lookout for any soldier calling for reinforcements and eliminate them before they manage to make a call, if possible.
There are three objectives that you have to accomplish in order to shut down the extractor: shut down the external seismic tower, shut down the inner yard’s seismic tower, and close the gas storage pipeline.
Near the western side of the site is the external seismic tower guarded by AMPs. Get close to the tower, locate the lever and shut it down.
Next, make your way to the inner yard, which has heavy security. You can disable the flak turrets on the outer walls by shooting at their weak spot. Prepare to face lots of AMPs within this inner perimeter. The seismic tower is the central area; find its lever and shut it down.
Finally, head to the gas storage and climb up to find the valve wheel. Close the valve to shut down the pipeline.
After the entire site has been shut down and reclaimed, you can continue on your objective to find the nectar.
Bring the swamp hive nectar to Etuwa and Nefika at the Glade of Light
Once you have gathered the nectar, you can head back to the Etuwa and Nefika to start the ritual. They can be found at the Glade of Light which is west of the Hometree.
You then hand over the nectar to Nefika as Etuwa prepares the kinglor queen for the ritual. You then connect with the queen where you get to see her vision of what happened before which also starts the A Queen’s Vision chapter.
Describe the kinglor vision to Etuwa and Nefika at the Glade of Light
After going through the vision, you then tell what you saw to Etuwa and Nefika, especially the RDA devices that have driven off the kinglor to seek shelter to the Hometree. Because these devices are in the air, Etuwa suggests that it is time for you to bond with your own ikran. Nefika advises that you should connect with Eywa first to prepare you with the bond.
Connect to Eywa at the Tree of Voices in the Glade of Light to prepare for the ikran bond
To connect to the Tree of Voices, approach one of its vines and connect with it. After a brief moment, you have already established a connection with Eywa and you’re now ready to bond with your ikran.
This concludes the chapter and you will be rewarded with Nefika’s Armwrap and a Sweetened Niktsyey. You also gain some Clan Favor towards the Aranahe and 2 skill points.
