Microsoft has recently announced that Nintendo Switch will finally get Call of Duty in the near future thanks to a new deal.
CEO Phil Spencer recently posted on his official Twitter account that Microsoft has now entered a 10-year commitment with Nintendo. This deal will bring Call of Duty titles to its platforms in the near future. Since this has come through, it just meant the merger with Activision Blizzard has come through.
Spencer also mentioned that Microsoft will continue offering Call of Duty games on Steam and Xbox platforms even after they closed the merger with Activision Blizzard.
The Xbox CEO said in an interview with The Washington Post media outlet that the team is still looking into which titles will be added to Nintendo Switch. He also said there is no set date yet when one of those Call of Duty games will be released on the Nintendo console.
Never thought we would see the day that Call of Duty would come back to Nintendo platforms.
