Last season, our allies on Titan pointed us in the direction of the one person that can help us take down the Witness, the Witch Queen Savathun. In our desperation to gain an edge, we now attempt to make contact with Imaru. A bargain was struck. The only time Savathun returns from the dead is when her sister Zivu Arath is no longer in play.
In this article, we will track all the steps for the seasonal quest, the Bladed Path. We will also cover the quest you need to do to gain access to the seasonal artifact, as well as the rewards you will get for completing a whole week’s worth of steps.
How to Start The Bladed Path Quest in Destiny 2
Complete the Toil and Trouble Seasonal Quest. This will be your introduction to the mechanics of the season and a setup for the events that will unfold throughout the weeks. Guardian be warned, you will be facing jumping puzzles and the typical Hive shenanigans we have come to know from our time in Shadowkeep.
Step 1: Complete the “Way of the Witch” mission.
Step 2: Reveal the secrets of the Hive by completing Savathun’s Spire.
Step 3: Investigate the portal in the southern wing of the H.E.L.M.
Step 4: Speak with Eris Morn in the Athenaeum.
Step 5: Visit the Lectern of Divination in the Athenaeum.
Step 6: Visit the Ritual Table in the Athenaeum.
Once you have completed all these steps will you be able to begin the Bladed Path seasonal quest. It is also at this time that the seasonal activity will reveal itself in the form of collecting cards and completing the Deck of Whispers.
Destiny 2 The Bladed Path Quest Steps
There are 51 steps in total. This is looking like the story will fully reveal itself over halfway through the current season. We may have more in store in the final weeks but there should be enough here to keep us engaged based on what we experienced during the Way of the Witch mission.
Week 1 Quest Steps
Step 1: Conquer powerful combatants and tithe strength to Eris Morn in “Mission: Invoke.”
Step 2: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 3: Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.
Step 4: Eris Morn will contact you when she has further need of your tithes. Until then, continue building your power and unraveling the secrets of the Hive.
- Deepen your understanding of the Hive by searching for cards from the Deck of Whispers.
Week 2 Quest Steps
Step 5: Eris Morn wishes to speak with you in the Athenaeum.
Step 6: Listen to Eris’s story.
Step 7: Further your understanding of sword logic by attuning with an element at Eris Morn’s Ritual Table.
Step 8: Defeat combatants using your selected element’s damage type in Savathun’s thrown world or in Seasonal activities. Defeating powerful combatants will grant bonus progress.
Step 9: Attune with the Hive elemental runes in the Lost Sectors of Savathun’s throne world.
Step 10: Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.
Step 11: Speak with Eris Morn in the Athenauem.
Step 12: Visit the holoprojector in the southern wing of the H.E.L.M.
Step 13: Eris Morn will contact you when she has further need of your tithes. Until then, continue building your power and unraveling the secrets of the Hive.
Week 3 Quest Steps
Step 14: Eris Morn wishes to speak with you in the Athenaeum.
Step 15: Breach the twisting halls of Savathun’s Spire and tear through illusions and combatants alike.
Step 16: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 17: Defend your tithing rituals from Xivu Arath’s ambushing forces in “Mission: Conjure.”
Step 18: Visit the holoprojector in the southern wing of the H.E.L.M.
Step 19: Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.
Step 20: Eris Morn will contact you when she has further need of your tithes. Until then, continue building your power and unraveling the secrets of the Hive.
Week 4 Quest Steps
Step 21: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 22: Attune with an element at Eris Morn’s Ritual Table.
Step 23: Complete (2) patrols in Savathun’s throne world, and defeat (30) combatants using your selected elemental damage type in Savathun’s throne world or in Seasonal activities.
Step 24: Attune with the Hive elemental runes in the Lost Sectors of Savathun’s throne world.
Step 25: Visit Ikora in The Plunge, Dive Tank. Access The Plunge, Dive Tank in the western wing of the H.E.L.M.
Step 26: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M. A message awaits at the holoprojector in the southern wing of the H.E.L.M.
Step 27: Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.
Step 28: Eris Morn will contact you when she has further need of your tithes. Until then, continue building your power and unraveling the secrets of the Hive.
Week 5 Quest Steps
Step 29: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 30: Complete rituals within the Altars of Summoning.
Step 31: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 32: Eris Morn wishes to speak with you in the Athenaeum.
Step 33: Claim “A Gift of Cunning: Minor Arcana from the Lectern of Divination to unlock and enter the Imbaru Engine.
Step 34: Enter the Imbaru Engine and discover the secrets within. The Imbaru Engine can be accessed from the H.E.L.M. in the Destinations tab.
Step 35: Explore the Imbaru Engine. Return to the Ritual Table in the Athenaeum when you are ready.
Step 36: Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.

Week 6 Quest Steps
Step 38: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 39: Attune with an element at Eris Morn’s Ritual Table.
Step 40: Defeat (3) Lucent Hive and crush their Ghosts. In addition, defeat (15) powerful combatants with your attuned element in Savathun’s Throne World or in Seasonal activities.
Step 41: Attune with the Hive elements runes in the Lost Sectors of Savathun’s throne world.
Step 42: Eris Morn wishes to speak with you in the Athenaeum.
Step 43: Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.
Step 44: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 45: Eris Morn will contact you when she has further need of your tithes. Until then, continue building your power and unraveling the secrets of the Hive.
Week 7 Quest Steps
Step 46: Eris Morn has summoned you to her Athenaeum in Savathun’s Throne World.
Step 47: Complete Savathun’s Spire.
Step 48: Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Step 49: Complete “Mission: Sunder.”
Step 50: Eris visited.
Step 51: Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.
The Bladed Path Rewards
The missions offer a range of armor pieces and seasonal weapons. You are guaranteed at least one red border weapon a week by doing the mission tied to the weekly steps.
At the end of the weekly steps, you will be awarded a bunch of Offering material you can use at the Altars of Summoning to initiate a tiered encounter.
