Digimon Survive – How to Digi-Volve and Recruit Digimon

Digimon Survive is nearing its release and fans of the series are now getting ready for its release. With all the details about the game and confirmed Digimons arriving in BANDAI NAMCO’s latest game, fans are eagerly waiting for more and are preparing what to expect in the game.

Recently new details about the game were revealed and though, they may look minor, it is considered to be essential in mastering the gameplay mechanics of the full game. The two details revealed are about how to recruit Digimon to your party and how to Digi-volve.

How to Recruit Digimon in Digimon Survive

At the beginning of the game, players will be partnered with their assigned Digimon and throughout the story, they will be encountering wild Digimons and players will be forced to fight them. Players have choices of whether to defeat them in battle or recruit them. If players choose to battle them and win, their Digimons will gain exp & have a chance to level up their stats.

However, in Digmon Survive, players can recruit wild Digimons to their party through the art of conversations. When a Digimon begins to feel weakened or suddenly wants to talk it out, players must carefully choose the right conversation of how to reply and if it succeeds, that wild Digimon will instantly be added to your party.

    How To Digi-volve

Digimon is nothing without its evolutions. As stated in our previous Digimon Survive articles, the choices a player makes will affect the evolution chart of their partner Digimon. During battle, player’s chosen Digimon can evolve to their most powerful forms just like in the anime. However, the SP gauge of the player will be reduced so carefully selecting which Digimon should be evolved is a must. Also, after a battle, Digimons who evolve in battle will revert back instantly to their rookie forms instantaneously.

Digimon Survive is set to be released on July 28th, 2022, in Japan and on July 29th, 2022 in the US for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam).
