Miracles Take Time is the first story quest of the newest character added along with Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Update 5, The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella. As you make your way through the quest, you’ll discover the identity of the person who lives in the pumpkin house in the Forgotten Lands, and learn how to open the gate between Dreamlight Valley and Dreamscape.

Miracles Take Time Quest Walkthrough
To start the Miracles Take Time quest and unlock the Fairy Godmother in Disney Dreamlight Valley, make sure that you’ve unlocked the Forgotten Lands biome, progressed through the latest story quest, and downloaded The Remembering update. Once done, you’ll be greeted with a new cutscene involving the Pumpkin House located in the Forgotten Lands. The quest will automatically start after the cutscene ends.
Enter the Pumpkin House in the Forgotten Lands
Visit the Pumpkin House in the Forgotten Lands once the Miracles Take Time quest begins to see that it has been unlocked. Head inside and talk to the Fairy Godmother.
Gather Purified Night Shards
Following the conversation with the Fairy Godmother, she’ll then task you to gather 5 Purified Night Shards to create an illusion-dispelling enchantment that’ll be of use later on.
Purified Night Shards can be obtained by combining Night Shards with Dream Shards at a crafting station. 1 Purified Night Shard requires 5 Night Shards and 1 Dream Shard. You can get Dream Shards and Night Shards by digging glittering mounds in the ground using your Shovel, which can be found on any biome. Getting rid of Night thorns is another way to obtain Dream Shards as well.
Once you’re done crafting, go back to the Fairy Godmother and give her the Purified Night Shards.
Follow the Fairy Godmother to the Dreamscape’s Entrance
Follow the Fairy Godmother to the Dreamscape’s entrance, located on the mountain in the middle of the Forgotten Lands, which is just a few steps away from the pumpkin house to the left.
Once there, talk to the Fairy Godmother, and she’ll open up the gateway between Dreamlight Valley and Dreamscape. After that, enter the Dreamscape via the treehouse.
Collect Forgotten Memories From Pedestals
Upon reaching Dreamscape, the Fairy Godmother tells you to collect three of the Forgotten’s memories from the pedestals to power up the Orb of Remembrance.
- Pick up the Memory of Love (purple) to the left of The Fairy Godmother.
- Pick up the Memory of Courage (blue) to the right of The Fairy Godmother.
- Pick up the Memory of Power (yellow) to the right of the Memory of Courage.
After collecting the three memory orb fragments, head back to the Fairy Godmother to complete the Miracles Take Time quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. After this, she’ll then open up the first gateway to find the Forgotten’s lost memories, which is part of the next quest called “Forgotten Memories: Friendship.”
