Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware have now revealed the official Elden Ring global release timings and it seems the PC version will be different than the console.
The game companies have revealed the release times of the game for all platforms and regions. This is to prepare the fans on when to exactly play the game. They can pre-load the game 48 hours before the schedules though, which is enough ample time to download the whole game then play it later.
Check out the dates below on the global map image:
- February 24 at 9:00pm PT on consoles/3:00pm PT on PC
- February 24 at 11:00pm CT on consoles/5:00pm CT on PC
- February 25 at midnight local time ET on consoles/February 24 at 6:00pm ET on PC
- February 25 at midnight local time UTC+8/PHT on consoles
- February 25 at 7:00 AM UTC+8/PHT on PC
PC players, based on the map, will be able to play earlier compared to the consoles. This could get messy as PC players might upload content together with spoilers ahead of the console players, which could definitely spoil them the story.
FromSoftware has already asked the fans to not spoil the game for each other, but some of them might not follow. Still, it would be best to avoid streaming websites when the game launches like YouTube, Twitch, and other sites. Also, they must avoid going to Reddit as it is swarmed by people who love to spoil for fun.
Elden Ring will launch on February 25, 2022. It will be on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
