Game developer FromSoftware recently revealed its New Year’s greeting card campaign and it might have hinted the release date of the game Elden Ring.
Elden Ring greeting card hints release date
As a tradition by the Japanese, FromSoftware promptly released a New Year’s greeting card campaign. It has instructions for users to register an email address to receive a digital New Year card with the choice of a wallpaper that can be used on smartphones. One of the choices was the upcoming video game title, and the text seems to hint that the game launching will be this coming June.
The campaign has this text:
You can choose from three types, “SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE” and “METAL WOLF CHAOS XD” released in 2019, and “ELDEN RING” released in June.
Registering in this campaign by Saturday, Jan. 4, will also enter users into a New Year Gift Lottery Lottery that can be used for game-related goods. It is still unclear if the release window for the upcoming game was listed intentionally. It could also be a mistranslation since the reveal date of the game was way back in June 2019 at E3.
