Don’t you want to know what it feels like to be a farmer? The cathartic feeling of reaping the crop from a hard day’s work is unmatched by any other. In Farming Simulator 22, you’ll get all new features in this installment that bring you closer to the farm life than ever before. Here are all the Farming Simulator 22 new features.

    Farming Simulator 22 New Features

Unlike in previous games, Farming Simulator 22 brings you closer to reality by adding three new gameplay features to the game. You’ll not only be getting new maps and new vehicles, but you’ll also experience a different way to simulate farming.

    • Mulching
    • Stone Picking
    • Soil Rolling

Compared to before, players will notice that the ground textures have been much improved and have undergone some reworking. You’ll notice a few more key things on the surface that indicate the new things you can do.

    Mulching

    Mulcing

After a harvest, you can mulch the leftover grass and stubble. This will improve the soil quality of your farm for future harvests. By mulching you get better yields which in turn are more profitable.

    Stone Picking

    Stone Picking

When you’re planting your future yield, you may notice that there are stones on the ground which can affect the soil quality. With the new stone picking tool you can attach to your tractor, you can safely bury the stones under the topsoil ensuring they don’t get in the way of your soil quality.

    Soil Rolling

    Stone Picking

Soil Rolling is a new addition to Farming Simulator 22 that allows for increased yields. When you roll over your seed beds, the soil will be compacted giving you a yield bonus. Farmers can get a fertilizing stage in their grasslands by rolling over the soil.

Does Farming Simulator 22 Support Crossplay?

    Farming Simulator 22 Crossplay

Developers GIANTS have confirmed that Farming Simulator 22 will allow everyone to join in and farm together regardless of platform. So if you’re playing the game on Xbox and want your PC friend to join you, you’ll have no problems.

You can work together with your friends to build up your farm, establish agriculture, or just fool around with your buddies on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. Even Google Stadia players can join in on the fun as well.
