343 Industries has recently announced a warning to Halo Infinite players to not Quick Resume the campaign as it can cause bugs.
The campaign part of Halo Infinite has recently dropped on all platforms. The game is set on the Zeta Halo ring where somewhere scattered all over are armor lockers. Once discovered, it will unlock cosmetics that can be used in multiplayer, which is a good thing to have.
There is one issue though: If you are offline or have disconnected from the Halo servers, the cosmetics that you just unlocked will not show up in your multiplayer inventory. You will have to do it again with a previous save and must be online. There are a few ways to get offline or disconnected from the servers and one of them is by doing Quick Resume.
Quick Resume is not supposed to have this kind of problem, but there have been a lot of times that it does unfortunately. After resuming, it will fail to connect the game to the servers, leaving you playing offline. Community Director Brian Jarrard quickly took to Twitter to warn the players to not use the feature on Xbox Series X/S while playing Halo Infinite in the meantime.
Jarrard revealed that the development team is fully aware of the situation and are trying to make a retroactive fix, which promises to have players get the cosmetics they have earned properly. He recommends not to use the Quick Resume feature while playing Halo Infinite campaign temporarily.
Halo Infinite is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
