After the launch and success of Death Stranding, what are the plans of this legendary game creator and director? Well, he did say that he wanted to make movies and just recently he is planning to make a horror game. In fact, he wants to make the scariest horror game of all.

Kojima recently revealed how he plans to approach the game’s development. Check out his recent tweet below:

As to make the scariest horror game, I’ll watch the scary movies in order to awaken my horror soul. THE EYE is the Thai horror movie I rent when making PT but was too scary to finish watching. The package is scary so I rented the disc only. Will I be able to finish watching? pic.twitter.com/BVwPruUAvt

The game creator was recently interviewed at a BAFTA panel in London. He suggested that his next game will be a fusion of movies and video games. He also hinted that he wants to utilize streaming services.

This is what he said during the panel:

In the next five years, the platform will be streaming. Either it’s a movie or a game, both will remain – the cinema experience and the platform of games will remain. But the game, you could broadcast that right now, like esports that you see today. It’s a movie, but it’s a game, I’m thinking of that kind of idea, and I want to do that kind of thing.

Death Stranding is already available on PlayStation 4. It is planned for release on PC next year.
