    Hogwarts Legacy Mandrake Location

Mandrakes in Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most iconic plants in the Harry Potter lore. This screeching magical plant can be used in combat to knock enemies off their feet which is useful in defending yourself. We’ve made this guide to help you find the Hogwarts Legacy Mandrake location so you can find some for yourself.

Where to find Mandrakes in Hogwarts Legacy?

Mandrakes can be found in free roam regions like The Forbidden Forrest where you can pick them up from the ground after your first Herbology class. You can also buy Mandrake seeds for 800 Galleon or a fully grown Mandrake for 500 Galleon Dogweed & Deathcap in Hogsmeade.

You can find, plant, and grow Mandrakes if you’re looking to gather a lot. Looking for them won’t cost you, but there’s no definitive Hogwarts Legacy Mandrake location. On the other hand, 800 Galleon to plant your own harvest of Mandrake can be rather expensive.

Planting your own Mandrakes can be done so long as you have seeds and any type of potting plant. Go to the Room of Requirement, set down a pot and plant the Mandrake seed. This will take about 10 minutes until you can harvest a batch of Mandrake. You’ll be able to harvest more Mandrake by using fertilizers which can be bought for 300 Galleon from The Magic Neep or Dogweed & Deathcap in Hogsmeade.

Best Way to Farm Mandrakes in Hogwarts Legacy

The best way to farm Mandrakes is by planting them in Hogwarts Legacy and using fertilizers to increase the batch you get per harvest. However if you’re looking to save up on Galleon, there are a lot of Mandrakes to be fond in the Forbidden Forest region.

You can purchase a fully grown Mandrake from Dogweed & Deathcap in Hogsmeade for 500 Galleon which is 300 less than the seeds, however this only gets you one Mandrake. So while it’s cheaper, it’s most costly in the long run rather than growing it yourself.

How to use Mandrakes in Hogwarts Legacy

How to use Mandrakes in Hogwarts Legacy?

To use Mandrakes, press the L1 / LB button on your controller to pull up the equipment radial wheel and use the right stick to select the Mandrake. This will make your character pull out a Mandrake to use as a weapon against enemies.

The Mandrake’s screech is loud and fatal which will harm multiple enemies. It’s useful for getting out of a situation where you’re surrounded. However it is also used in your classroom assignments such as the instance Professor Garlick asks for one in return for teaching you Wingardium Leviosa.
