Horizon Zero Dawn Sequel Possible Due To Dev Recruitment

Horizon Zero Dawn

Game developer Guerilla Games is trying to recruit new help for a new project and that is no secret, but there is some instance in that recruitment that smells like a sequel for Horizon Zero Dawn.

Horizon Zero Dawn sequel coming?

Guerilla Games might be recruiting some new help for an upcoming sequel for the popular open world game due to its job listing. It specifically references to Horizon, which could mean a sequel for the game is in the works. The Job listing is for a Technical Vegetation Artist with a role of creating the stunning environments of Horizon.

The listing describes that the artist is staked with creating the vegetation assets to dress the world, optimizing the game’s content, and collaborating with the narrative team to meet design requirements. Some assume that the development has started already after shipping the first game and its DLC The Frozen Wilds. This upcoming project could be ready to go sometime after the PlayStation 5 releases to the public. This is still some hypothesis and not set in stone so do not assume it is real. There was this slip up from Tatai’s actress that there is a sequel in the works.

This new project seems to be separate from the rumored Horizon VR game that was in the works, which is apparently being developed by another group, Sony London Studio. All in all, these are just rumors still and take it with a grain of salt.

The full game is already available on PlayStation 4.
