The Arcade machine Game Zone Easter Egg in Halo Infinite is easily missable. Most players rush through Outpost Tremonius, skipping over the area where the arcade machine is hidden because they are eager to get back to the story. However, there is an easter egg to be found and it’s well worth the effort.
A Halo game wouldn’t be complete without Halo Easter Eggs. This particular Easter Egg isn’t just a visual one, but also treat your ears with some music. In this guide, we’ll show how you can find the Game Zone Easter Egg in the Halo Infinite campaign.
Where to find the Game Zone Easter Egg?
First, you need to make your way to the north part of the map. The landmark that we’ll use is the huge crashed ship near the Outpost Tremonius.
Right below the ridge where the ship’s thrusters are is a building with a vehicle ramp. Behind that building is a path that leads you further into the mountain. The red lights along the path will serve as a guide.
At the end of the path, you’ll then find a door. Walking inside, you’ll find a corridor leading to a room.
Inside the room are a couple of passed out (hopefully) soldiers and bottles of booze, and in the middle is a Game Zone arcade box for Halo Infinite.
Beside the arcade box is a Heatwave that you can pick up.
Though it does say “Insert Coin“, sadly, there is no interaction that you can do with the arcade box. You can go behind the box to see that someone wrote the phrase “THIS IS MADNESS” on the box’s back panel.
To make up for the lack of interaction, the arcade box does play Halo soundtracks in 8-bit style.
A similar arcade box can be found in the Streets map, just inside the Arcade Game Zone building.
Additional note: There have been multiple instances where players have been inside the room, but didn’t find the arcade box. This seems to happen if players visit the room at early parts of the game; revisiting the room at a later point makes the arcade box appear.
This is just one of the many Easter Eggs scattered in Zeta Halo, among them are different dolls, spots where you can trigger the Halo Theme Music, and even a giant sandwich. Have you seen them all?
