How to Perform Ritual of the Pentagram in Demonologist?
To perform the ritual of the pentagram in Demonologist, you have to stand inside the pentagram for around 30 seconds until the ticking stops and the black lines of the pentagram glow red. You’ll know that you’ve completed the ritual once the ticking grinds to a halt.
You’ll have to first find where the pentagram is before you can perform the ritual. It will only spawn after everyone has picked the ghost type in their Journals. Afterwards, it will appear in a random room inside the location. It’s easy to spot because it’s constantly circling on the floor. There are 3 possible locations the ritual pentagram can spawn in per map, and it’ll usually be in a room that’s big enough to hold it.
Performing the ritual of the pentagram puts you in a tough spot. You have to stay still in one area of the map for 30 seconds, which leaves you vulnerable if the ghost ever starts to hunt. You can leave, but you’ll have to start the countdown all over again.
Because of this, we recommend bringing in a Crucifix to ward off the ghost. Not everyone needs to stand in the pentagram to complete the ritual, so a person with the Crucifix could do the job and save everyone the trouble. Since this optional objective comes after figuring out the ghost type, you could possibly be at low sanity by the time you need to complete this objective. You may also have exhausted Sanity Pills and all the Crucifix you can carry, which puts you in a risky position.
