For those who want to be one of the first to play, you can play LEGO 2K Drive early. Not many games let you play ahead of their own release dates, but some do have ways that allow you to skip past the wait. If you’re excited and want to get your hands on this open-world racing game early, then this guide is for you.

How to play LEGO 2K Drive early?

To play LEGO 2K early, pre-order the LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition or the Awesome Rivals Edition for any platform it’s available on. This gives you a full 3-day early access to the entire game before its official release date of May 19, 2023.

The Awesome Edition and the Awesome Rivals Edition are more expensive than the standard edition of LEGO 2K Drive, but they come with their own set of perks. Bonus items aside, one of those perks is your key to playing the game early. You just have to be willing to pay extra.

The standard cost of LEGO 2K Drive is $59.99 USD. The Awesome Edition is $40 more at $99.99 USD, which makes it pretty expensive. The Awesome Rivals Edition is even more expensive at $119.99 USD. They come with the Year 1 Drive Pass for the upcoming DLCs, which is why they’re asking for such a steep price.

Though considering how expensive it is even with the Year 1 Drive Pass, Visual Concepts must have understood that they were asking for a lot, which is why they let you play LEGO 2K Drive early if you pre-order it. It’s a bit of a deal considering you only have 3-day access, so it’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it.

That’s how to play LEGO 2K Drive Early. The game’s early access launch will be on May 16, 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
