The game actually lets players take control of a hungry shark. They have to eat other fish, level up their sharks, and even fight strong and ferocious boss battles. The game has seventeen different shark species and tons of missions to try out. It also has a lot of customization options like accessories, gadgets, and even pets.

Ubisoft clarified in a tweet that the game will have no in-game transactions in the console version and it is now available for only $9.99. The iOS and Android versions did have a lot of microtransactions.
