Is Atlas Fallen Cross Platform?
Atlas Fallen is not cross platform even though it allows for seamless multiplayer with a friend. If you have someone to play with, you need to be on the same platform. Otherwise you can’t invite them for a coop session.
Cross platform play isn’t a revolutionary invention in multiplayer gaming but some modern releases like Atlas Fallen doesn’t feature it. Developers Deck13 hasn’t yet made any announcements at the time of this writing whether they plan to implement cross-platform play in the nearby future. For the time being, if you have a friend to play Atlas Fallen with you’d better buy it on the same platform.
Until Deck13 announces any plans for cross platform play, you’ll have to play by yourself if you’re unable to get your friends to buy the game on the same console. Don’t worry as Atlas Fallen is featured as a single player experience with optional coop.
Atlas Fallen Platforms
Atlas Fallen is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is only releasing on current gen consoles. Previous gen consoles won’t be able to play Atlas Fallen.
For PC players, Atlas Fallen is only available on Steam so there’s no need to worry about where you’re going to purchase the game. Just be sure that your PC can handle the system requirements. You also won’t have to worry about purchasing PS Plus or Xbox Live to play with your friend.
