Two new difficulty modes can now be access with the latest Metroid Dread free update.
The newest free update launches today for Metroid Dread and it adds two new difficulty modes: Dread Mode and Rookie Mode. Both are vastly different in terms of challenge.
For Dread Mode, players will play the game normally except it gets challenging and if they get hit even once, it is game over right away. The most challenging difficulty mode to choose from even for Metroid Dread veterans.
The other difficulty mode is Rookie Mode where players can easily enjoy the game with increased recovery.
There will be a second free update later in April 2022, which will add a Boss Rush Mode. Players will fight bosses continuously one at a time.
Metroid Dread is now available on Nintendo Switch.
