The official Mortal Kombat 11 social media account recently revealed a very intriguing new clip.

The Twitter account of MK11 just dropped a very ominous teaser. It features the good ending of the game, but it has a twist at the end. It shows Liu Kang and Raiden trying to build a new universe after defeating Kronika. As Liu Kang tries to start up the process, he is interrupted by someone coming out from a portal stating that if he continues to do that he would doom everyone else.
This is where Raiden exclaims that the one arriving is Shang Tsung.
The new teaser hinted that this could be a new downloadable content for the game, possibly an epilogue for this game’s story. It could also mean a bridge for the next title’s story because the vanilla version looked like it could have ended the franchise.
The reveal will happen on May 6, 6AM PT.
The game is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
