After several setbacks and big issues this weekend, video game Outriders is finally getting its crossplay feature working on ALL platforms.
According to a recent Twitter post by game developer People Can Fly, a new update was recently released on Xbox servers. This has made it possible for PC, PlayStation and Xbox players to play together in one gaming session. It worked first with the PC, PS4, and PS5 crowd, but now it is for everyone.
The developers shared that the Xbox team has been supporting them in regards to making this feature ready for their platforms. With the patch now live, everyone can now enjoy the feature. It is a 600MB patch, so players should free up some space for this.
People Can Fly promised to monitor the performance and feedback after this update was released. They will also provide everyone news on what to do in case something goes wrong.
It was also revealed that the developers are aware of the inventory wipe bug that has been happening to several players. They are currently trying to resolve the issue and will offer compensation for those affected. Those who got the bug are not too happy that their items are gone and demanding that the developers find a way to get it fixed.
Outriders is now available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
