The Outriders Worldslayer Expansion features new skill trees for current classes known as PAX Trees for players to utilize as they work towards perfecting their characters’ builds.
As such, players will have a fair bit more at their disposal to combat the newly added formidable foes that this expansion offers. So, here’s a breakdown on how PAX Trees work in Outriders Worldslayer.
What are PAX Trees in Outriders Worldslayer?
PAX Trees are additional skill trees you unlock throughout the Worldslayer campaign, split into two unique paths. For each of the four existing Outrider classes, these PAX trees include two new skill trees.
Additionally, each node in the PAX class trees is equivalent to a major node in your existing class trees, making each node distinct and essential. There are deep ties between the PAX trees and the Anomaly, which players will learn more about over time.
How to Unlock the PAX Tree
Players who have reached Level 30 in the Worldslayer campaign and completed the Trepedition quest will be able to use the PAX System.
Nodes in the PAX class trees cannot be unlocked using Class Points earned from leveling up, in contrast to the other three skill trees. Nodes in PAX class trees, on the other hand, require PAX points, which you earn by progressing through the game.
How to Earn PAX Points in Outriders Worldslayer?
As preiously stated, PAX points can be earned just by playing the main campaign of Worldslayer. A PAX point is given to you after finishing certain Quests in the main storyline of the game, which are as follows:
- Pilgrimage
- Shards
- Wrath
- Defeating the Fisherman in Trepidation
- The Trial of Tarya Gratar (Endgame)
You won’t have to worry about missing any of these quests since they’re all related to Worldslayer’s main storyline and endgame activities.
You can earn a maximum of five PAX points, which means you can only max out one path on any particular PAX tree. Additionally, PAX points may be reset at any time, and there is no charge for doing so.
How to Reset your Allocated PAX Points
Respec your PAX Points by going to your Class menu, select PAX, then navigate on a skill to see a command for reset. This gives players the freedom to experiment with their characters’ builds without backlash.
Each of the four classes will have two new Subclass trees to place their points in, similar to the previous branches. These will provide powerful new passives that tie up with the new Ascension system that will be available for your classes.

Outriders Worldslayer adds two new subclass trees for the Devastator Class, which are:

Harvester | Increase your Weapon Leech by 10%. Additionally, increase Weapon Leech by 2% for every enemy in Close Range up to 10%. |
Hardened | Increase your Damage Mitigation by 5%. Additionally, increase Damage Mitigation by 2% for every enemy in Close Range up to 10%. |
Finishing Touch | Increase your Weapon Damage by the percentage of ammo missing from your magazine. Killing shots replenish 35% of your magazine. |

Armored Division | Increase your Armor Piercing by 20%. Reduce your Kinetic skill Cooldown by 50% of your Armor Piercing value. |
Against Devastating Odds | Damaging at least 3 enemies with a Kinetic skill grants you 30% Armor Piercing for 4 seconds. Damaging fewer enemies makes your shots Critical Shots for 4 seconds. |

Come One, Come All | Your Kinetic skill removes Effect Resistance from hit Elites. This effect has a 7-second cooldown. |
Elitism | Shots on Elites reduce incoming damage from Elites by 15% and increase damage against Elites by 30% for 5 seconds. 5-second cooldown. |

Strange Surgeon | Your shots inflict Bleed. Killing an enemy afflicted with Bleed in Close Range reduces ongoing cooldowns for Protection skills by 1.5 seconds. |
Overwhelming Force | While a Protection skill is active, you release seismic impulses every 2 seconds that deal damage equal to 40% of your armor. |
Tectonic Shifter Skill Tree

Impact Point | Your Seismic and Kinetic skill damage is increased by an additional 30% of your Anomaly Power. Bonus damage is split among all damaged enemies. |
Puncture | Your Seismic skills inflict Bleed. Anomaly Damage to enemies afflicted with Bleed is increased by 10%. |
Obliteration | Increase your Anomaly Power and Resistance Piercing by 6%. Each damaged enemy increases the bonus by 3%, up to an additional 9% for 3 seconds. |
Earthen Shell | Damage dealt with skills is converted to Shield. |

Upheaval | Enemies damaged by Seismic skill become Upheaved for 2 seconds, storing 10% of damage received during that time and releasing it once the effect ends. |
Multistrike | 30% of damage dealt by Seismic skills is stored and added to your next Seismic skill. The effect resets every time you release your stored damage. |

Richter Rising | Enemies damaged by both Seismic and Kinetic skills within 4 seconds receive 15% more damage for 4 seconds. |
Energy Transmission | Each enemy damaged by your Kinetic skills increases the damage of your next Seismic skill by 15%. Each enemy damaged by your Seismic skills reduces ongoing cooldowns of your Kinetic skills by 0.5 seconds. |
Bottom Branch Skills
Nodes | Effects |
Terms Of Engagement | 60% of damage dealt by Kinetic skills is stored and added to your next Kinetic skill. The effect resets every time you release your stored energy. |
Momentum | Each enemy damaged by your Kinetic skills reduces ongoing cooldowns of other Kinetic skills by 1 second, up to 4 seconds. |

Lethal Devices | Your Ordnance and Gadget skills inflict Toxic to enemies hit and deal an additional 5% of your Anomaly Power as damage if Toxic was refreshed. |
Pain Killer | Damaging an enemy grants you 2% Health Regeneration for 3 seconds. Stacks up to 2 times. |

Permanence | Inflicting Toxic on an enemy has 100% chance to inflict a random additional status. |
Dissection | You deal 5% more damage to enemies for every status inflicted on them. |

Twin Reaper | Sniper Weapon shots have a 75% chance to trigger an echo, dealing 25% of the damage dealt by the shot. |

Break Their Ranks | Your Interrupt skills remove Effect Resistance from hit Elites. This effect has a 7-second cooldown. |

Apothecary | You pulse every 5 seconds, healing all Players within a 25-meter radius for 2% of all damage done by you between each pulse. |

Biosync | Your Overheal is converted to a 3-second Health Regeneration effect for you and your allies. |
Kinetic Converter | Critical shots heal the nearest ally for 20% of their Max Health. If Overheal occurs, the player also receives 30% increased damage for 5 seconds. This effect has a 5-second cooldown. |

Hastened Influence | Reduce the remaining cooldown of one of your skills by 0.5 seconds for every status removed by you or applied to an enemy by any PLayer. |
Burrowing Charge | Critical Shots inject enemies with an explosive charge for 5 seconds, dealing 250% of Anomaly Power as damage upon the next Critical Shot taken. This effect has a 5-second cooldown. |
