Game company SEGA has recently filed a logo trademark for an upcoming video game Persona 5 Strikers in Japan.
Persona 5 Strikers the western version of P5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers?
P5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers was already announced by SEGA a while ago, but it was only revealed to be released in Japan. The new one, however, previously appeared in an English Nintendo earnings release in October under the upcoming third-party titles section for Japan. This highly suggests that it will be the western title of the original Japanese one.
One proof that it could be the western is the habit of Atlus shortening its more complicated titles for the west. This happened with Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
P5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will launch in Japan for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. It will be released on February 20, 2020. P5 Strikers could be coming next year if it gets officially announced for the west.
