The Golden Wheel Bottom Room is one of the three puzzle rooms connected to the giant Golden Wheel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. In these puzzle rooms, Sargon has to find out a crafty way to place a battery in a socket in order to power up one of the rings in of the golden wheel. Read ahead as we share the solution to the Golden Wheel Bottom Room in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

How to access the Golden Wheel Bottom Room

How to access the Golden Wheel Bottom Room - Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

The Golden Wheel Bottom Room can be accessed at the Upper City-East area, past the room with the barrel weights. This area can be reached once you gain the the Gravity Wings ability from Chapter 5 and it is a location that is on the main path to reach Haftorang in Chapter 6.

    Golden Wheel Bottom Room Solution

Your first objective for this room is to get the battery from the high platform.

leave shadow on left pressure pad - Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Golden Wheel Bottom Room Solution

Start by leaving a shadow on the left pressure pad. This pad activates the vertical platform in the middle of the room.

Then, stand on the right pressure pad which moves the platform that the battery is on. Stand on it until the platform is on the right side of the room.

return to shadow to knock off battery - Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Golden Wheel Bottom Room Solution

Return to your shadow on the left pad. This will knock off the battery from the platform as it moves back to its previous position.

grab battery and place on socket - Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Golden Wheel Bottom Room Solution

Now with the battery within reach, grab it and place it on the socket to make the middle platform above the socket pop out.

Jump on the platform and use it as a launchpad to leave another shadow up high. Make sure that the shadow is above the path of the moving platform that previously carried the battery.

Grab the battery and then stand on the right pad again to move the platform all the way to the right side.

Time your return to the shadow so that you will land on the platform as it passes by. Then immediately throw the battery on to the top socket. Successfully inserting the battery will activate the innermost blue ring of the golden wheel.

Although it can work, it is not recommended to go past the hatch as it will close up once the battery is on the socket. You will have to remove the battery to get out, but this will stop the innermost ring from moving. It is possible to make the ring stop right on the mark, leaving you with only two rings to work on with the golden wheel.
