The Herald of the Flame is the new adventure that pirates can look forward to in Sea of Thieves. It is the 8th Adventure to be dropping into the game and we’ll once again see a familiar face as we play through it. Here’s everything we know about the Sea of Thieves The Herald of the Flame adventure.
When Is The Herald of the Flame Release Date?
The Sea of Thieves Herald of the Flame Adventure will release on October 13, 2022 this Thursday. The Adventure will last until October 27th which means players will have 15 days to complete the new Sea of Thieves Adventure.
Considering the trailer for The Herald of the Flame only released just recently, it’s a pleasant surprise that we’ll get to experience this new Sea of Thieves Adventure so soon.
Sea of Thieves Adventure The Herald of the Flame Story
Stitcher Jim is back after his involvement with the Heart of Fire Tall Tale. And the new trailer shows him putting together an intimidating-looking skeleton in a stone coffin while singing. This skeleton is actually the remains Captain Flameheart and Stitcher Jim seems to be bringing him back using the cursed chalice.
We don’t know what the story of The Herald of the Flame is yet, but considering that Flameheart betrayed Stitcher Jim at the end of Heart of Fire it’s strange to see him bringing back the main antagonist of Sea of Thieves. Considering that Stitcher Jim is now inflicted with the Ashen Curse as shown in the trailer, he’s well on his way to becoming an Ashen Lord and probably the main antagonist of this new adventure.
