About Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is a narrative driven detective game developed by Frogware that places you into the shoes of the most iconic detective himself as he investigates the mysteries of the fictional island of Cordona located in 1880 Mediterranean.
Cordona is an open environment free for you to explore, talk to locals, and solve cases. Sherlock is erudite in a variety of subjects and can easily tell important details from people at a simple glance.
What you can do in SHCO:
- Pin Evidence – a clue can be selected from your journal and pinned. You can go around asking denizens regarding this specific clue.
- Wear Disguises – not everyone is going to like rich-boy Sherlock. You can change outfits to give people a more approachable impression of you.
- Concentrate – Sherlock can tell important details about a person just by a glance. Turn on your concentration at the touch of a button to observe objects through Holmes well-educated mind.
- Eavesdrop – listen in on the townsfolk. People have a habit of revealing details regarding a certain case.
- Fight Back – Holmes isn’t defenseless. With the help of Concentration Mode, he can identify weak points in hostile variables or take advantage of environmental hazards to incapacitate his foes.
- Bandit Lairs – significantly more dangerous than your average quest in Cordova, Bandit Lairs present a slew of challenges that Holmes can accomplish to gain money and experience. The less damage, the less bullets used, and the more challenges activated entitled Sherlock some currency to buy new outfits or rebuild his mansion.
- Family Mansion – acts as the main hub of the game which can be upgraded. Discover new side quests, meet new people, open mail, and decorate.
- Side Activities – there’s plenty to do in Cordova. Lose yourself by finding collectibles and treasure hunting as well as solving your side cases.
