Game company Bethesda has released a brand-new video for upcoming video game Starfield and in focuses on The Settled Systems.
Design Director Emil Pagliarulo discussed that The Settled Systems is a part of Earth’s Solar System in the future. In Starfield, the timeline is 2330 and located in a small area of the Milky Way. This area is just outside the known Solar System for approximately 50 light-years away.
20 years before the game’s timeline, the two largest factions called the United Colonies and Freestar Collective engaged in a bloody colony war and today they only enjoy a temporary yet uneasy peace. It is still dangerous in The Settled Systems with more factions prowling about like the Crimson Fleet pirates, the Constellation explorers, the violent Spacers, and the fanatical religious zealots of House Va’ruun.
The Constellation is committed to making discoveries and solving the mysteries of the galaxy though. Players are one of the newest members of this faction and they will have to explore the deepest reaches of the Settled Systems to go on their own adventures.
Starfield launches on Xbox Series X/S, and PC on November 11, 2022. Players can get this game on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
