    It has been confirmed that Starfield has now gone gold which means the game is now ready for launch. It will only need a little polish from the developers and a few minor adjustments before releasing it this coming September 6, 2023. It might still come with bugs during launch, but this version will now be fully playable and fit for release for the public to play.

    Preload Times Revealed

    Aside from going gold confirmation, the Twitter post from Bethesda Game Studios revealed the preload times for Starfield on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Players can now start downloading the game tomorrow, August 17, 2023 on Xbox Series X/S. For PC, they can preload the game starting on August 30, 2023, which is later this month.

    Launch Finally Going Forward

    With this reveal of preload times and the announcement of going gold, this officially confirms that the game is finally going forward on getting released. There will only be a small chance of it getting delayed, but this is good news for fans who have been waiting for a long time since it got delayed twice.

    After a short delay, Flying Wild Hog and Focus Entertainment have finally confirmed that Evil West has now gone gold. So what does it mean to be “gone gold”? It just means the game is fully functional and is ready for distribution with its physical copies for manufacturing. Fans who were worried about another delay will be able to rest easy now with this good news.

    Last August 16, 2022, the developers posted on social media that Evil West was going to be delayed for a couple of months. This worried fans since the usual trend these days in the gaming industry are delays and it would mean there is a big chance it would be delayed even further to next year, just like many other games lately.

    Since it has now gone gold, there is almost no chance that it will get delayed again. This is a confirmation that the new release date for the game will now be final. No more need to wait for more time because fans will be able to play it soon.

What that means is that the game’s playable content is now ready and its physical copies will be manufactured soon. This now confirms that the game will definitely launch on its announced release date, which is November 9, 2022. Most likely, there will be no more delays, unless there is a game-breaking bug that needs a lot of time to fix. That has not happened to any games that were announced to have gone gold before.

    Cyberpunk 2077 Finally Has Gone Gold

    Game studio CD Projekt RED has officially announced that upcoming video game Cyberpunk 2077 has finally gone gold.

    After its recent announcement that the studio has gone on full six-days a week working schedule, they have officially announced that the release version of the game is complete. The announcement came from the official Twitter account of the game with an image of Johnny Silverhand holding the gold disc. Production of the physical copies will now start.

    While it was revealed that the final version is now complete, it does not mean to say that will be the end of it. Upcoming content to be developed would be future DLCs, day one patch, and further tweaks and bug fixes.

    Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on Nov. 19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The improved PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X versions will be available next year.

    Game developer Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing is proud to announce that upcoming video game Godfall has now gone gold.

    For those who are uninitiated, the “Gone Gold “ phrase means that the game is now complete after development and is now ready for production and distribution. The developers proudly announced this on the game’s official Twitter account just recently. They specifically stated that the game has gone gold on the PlayStation 5.

    The official release date was also revealed, which is on Nov. 12 and will be launched on PS5 and PC via Epic Games Store. Pre-orders for the PC version are already available here. Pre-orders for the PS5 version will be coming soon.

This means development is finally over and it is now ready to be put on disc, mass production, and then distribution to everyone all over the world when it releases on July 17.     The announcement came from the Inside Xbox presentation with the additional information that the PC version will release ahead later this month. The console version will be coming later this year though so Xbox owners will have to wait a bit. Game developer The Coalition has assured the fans that work is continuing for the Xbox version. The Xbox One version should be a given, but it could also mean there would be an Xbox Series X version as well.

    Good news for PC owners who are planning to upgrade their processors. The game will be bundled free with the purchase of select Intel processors. It was revealed that Intel Core i5 CPUs will have this type of bundle.

    The game is set to launch on PC this coming April 28.
