    The Backlog Conundrum

So, it’s fair to say that some of us have a backlog of games to catch up on. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, life just happens to get in the way like it always does. You could have been broke at the time or maybe you just hadn’t finished the game you were currently playing. Whatever it was, it sure made that backlog pile up even more. Here’s the thing, though; you’re never going to get to it. Ever.

First, you realize that you actually have free time to catch up on some games. It’s a strange wonderous feeling, where you can do anything, but you don’t know exactly what to do — or which, rather. It’s an adventure, really.

You’re going to play this, and this, and this, and this, and, and, and… So many games that haven’t been played. You can’t wait. All of your free time will fit all of these games, surely. You think to yourself, all of them can be done within a month, no problem. Yet, it is a big pile, don’t you think?

Maybe, you should go plan out how long it takes to beat each game. It’s not a spoiler to know how many hours you’re going to invest in the game, don’t worry. It’s just a measurement, so you’ll know how to budget your time and when you can move on to the next one. A little planning never hurt anyone.

You then start to realize that the time you’ve spent planning everything out has equaled to a full game. Well, so much for all that time. Wait, what!? Most of the games are RPGs and JRPGs.

You know what, let’s just stick to that new game, which is coming out in a few weeks. Oh wait, you’re broke.
