The Elder Scrolls Future Tease Features Mystery Map

Game company Bethesda has recently released a very cryptic image on social media in relation to The Elder Scrolls and nobody knows what it is all about.

On the series’ official Twitter account, Bethesda posted on New Year a mysterious image that shows a map, which is supposed to be the province of Skyrim. It has the caption “Transcribe the past and map the future. Here’s to a Happy New Year!”

Fans are now scratching their heads as to what this image means. Some have theorized that this will be the map of Elder Scrolls 6 and it could take place in Hammerfell since the third candle represents future and it is on that part of the map. The first candle sits on the north of the map with some theorizing it has something to do with the arrival of the Atmorans.

Others think that the coins that have the date 4E 182 could indicate the time when the next game will take place. It might closely be connected to the previous titles instead. It also seems to confirm that this is not about the online game.

Nothing is for certain and only speculations are around. It could be Bethesda is just greeting everyone with a Happy New Year.
