After teasing her silhouette yesterday, SNK has officially revealed The King of Fighters XV Ángel trailer with her grappling prowess.
Ángel is the 35th character to be announced by SNK as a playable fighter. And for the first time, the developers have used the proper pronunciation of her name in the Spanish language. She is a Mexican wrestler after all.
Just like her original version in previous KOF games, Ángel still retains her awesome and sexy wrestling moves with some new ones like a “People’s Elbow” move from WWE star Dwayne The Rock Johnson. Other than that, it is her usually grappling moveset and some new ones unique to KOF XV.
There is also a unique dialogue between Ángel and Ramon. The latter says that him and the King of Dinosaurs together with her will have a lot fun together. It seems he is asking Ángel to join, but the ever-so-carefree Mexican wrestler wants to think about it.
Before, the three characters formed Team Mexico, but it seems either Ramon and King of Dinosaur were recruited by Antonov, or Ángel already quit the team and set off on her own. No official confirmation yet though.
The King of Fighters XV will launch on February 17, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
