The sales of The Last of Us Part 1 just got a huge growth spurt thanks the HBO’s TV adaptation of the original.
According to media outlet GamesIndustry.biz, it was revealed that the re-release of TLOU on PS5 has now come back to the UK boxed game chart top 20. It has a 238 percent rise in copies sold compared to the week before. The Last of US Remastered on PS4 also got a boost of 322 percent in sales.

While it has not entered the Top 10, the numbers are still good with such a sudden rise due to the first airing of the HBO TV adaptation of The Last of Us Part 1. The ones sitting on the Top 10 however are the titles that launched last week like Nintendo’s Fire Emblem Engage.
There are currently two episodes available to watch on HBO Max and fans are already raving about the TV series. Many have been praising it for its gripping story, intense action, and emotional moments. It is expected to have nine episodes.
