A new report has revealed that a new version of The Outer Worlds has been spotted online and it will be for specific platforms only.
Media outlet VGC has recently found a new version of The Outer Worlds on the Taiwanese ratings board. This new edition is supposed to be called The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition. This could be the updated version of the original game made by Obsidian Entertainment. The new classification said it will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
If the ratings were real, then it is possible that this new Spacer’s Choice Edition will include the two expansions, Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos. Peril on Gorgon was first released in 2020 while Murder on Eridanos was launched last year. This added 10 hours of gameplay more or less.
What’s interesting is the fact that this version will only be available on PC and new-gen consoles. It is possible that it will have improved visuals, higher frame rates, and other high-end tweaks that only new-gen hardware can handle.
No official confirmation from Obsidian yet if The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition to make it official.
