Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/s is an upgrade to the original version of the game, which will showcase newly upgraded visuals, improved audio, and other next-gen features injected into it. It was supposed to launch last year, but it got delayed to the second quarter of 2022. It then got delayed again back in April and now wanted the development to be in-house.
According to media outlet VGC, CD Projekt President and Joint CEO Adam Kiciński has recently revealed in the company’s first half earnings call that the game is still on track to launch during the fourth quarter of 2022. He has also denied the rumors stating that the game was in development hell.
Aside from The Witcher 3, the CEO confirmed that he expects the new Witcher saga will consist of more than one game.
The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will have the DLC items that are inspired by the Netlfix version of the series. It will be available for purchase on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 and a free upgrade for those who have it already on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
