- Rise of the Tomb Raider
This game may have come out a year ago, but having played Rise of the Tomb Raider just recently had me feeling this holiday-ish feeling. Is it the snowy climate? Well, definitely. But the thing about RotTR is that despite the holiday-ish vibe it brings, it also has action-packed, well, action sequences prepared for you every time you reach a confrontation from the enemy. It is a really nice game to play this time of the year since not only you get to experience snow in-game, but you also get to go with Lara on an adventure to find the Lost City and discover about who and what happened to the Prophet. What good will this game be, without the signature puzzles and hidden items and unlockables, am I right? (Not that the unlockables and puzzles are hard to do, anyway). Despite the game’s somewhat easy to solve puzzles and tedious items and unlockables to recover, RotTR is still an enjoyable game and has made significant upgrades since its first release.
