All Trooper Cards in Like A Dragon: Ishin

Trooper Cards is one of many features that make Like A Dragon: Ishin different from the rest of the series. After unlocking Chapter 5 of the main story quest, players will have access to a troop of soldiers that will assist Ryoma in combat. In the game, every soldier will be represented by a trooper card, and each card has its own abilities that can be used. In this guide, players will learn more about this feature, so read on.

What are Trooper Cards in A Dragon: Ishin?

Trooper Cards are cards that represent soldiers that will accompany Ryoma in combat. Each card has its own abilities that can do wonders. There are five types of Troopers abilities: Offensive, Defensive, Medical, Assist, and Support. Each of them can either heal HP, create a defensive buff, cause a powerful explosion of force, and more. Not only that, players will have their HP increase and will have access to a passive trait called Corporal Traits when equipping them.

How to Recruit more Trooper Cards?

Players can recruit more units to Ryoma’s side. There are 3 methods that players can use and each of them is very fruitful.

The first method is by defeating random enemies scattered throughout Kyoto. There will be chances where players will encounter different groups of enemies, and if players manage to impress them through their strength in combat, they can have the option to recruit them to their team.

The second method is through the recruitment option at the Shinsengumi Barracks. When players complete missions in Battle Dungeons, there are chances that they will receive a request from one of the enemies they defeated to join their squad.

The last method is practically the most expensive one, as players can recruit through the Enlistment tab found in the Mission Receptionist area of Shinsengumi HQ. In this system, players will use a gacha system where they can choose a tier to roll for a unit. The higher the pay for the unit, the higher the rarity of the card that will be given to the player.
