Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is here and there’s an interesting new location added to the island that’s inhabited by a very special NPC known as The Foundation.
You may be familiar with The Foundation, a member of the Seven, who at this chapter is not only a skin you can earn by purchasing the Fortnite Battle Pass, but someone you can actually meet and fight in the island.
If you want to know where to find The Foundation in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, you’d best be prepared. You need to know where he is, how to fight him, and what you get out of it. You’ve come to the right place.
The Foundation Boss Location
The Foundation is hiding in the Sanctuary, located in the eastern coast of the island. This place is actually the home of the Seven. The Foundation will be lying in wait for players who are prepared to challenge him.
The Foundation will be wandering around the Sanctuary. It can be challenging to find him since the location is thick with trees. Once you find The Foundation, you can fire at him to start the engagement.
Fortnite Rewards for Fighting The Foundation
Players who can successfully beat the Foundation can earn a Mythic variant of one of the newest weapon additions to the game. A mythic variant of the MK-SEVEN Assault Rifle can be earned by players who eliminate the Foundation.
How to Beat The Foundation in Fortnite
Eliminating the Foundation requires a lot of preparation. Facing up to one of the members of the Seven is certainly no easy task. If you’re prepared to go toe-to-toe with the leader of the Seven, here is what you need to do.
Head to the Sanctuary Immediately
There is only one Mythic MK-SEVEN in your game. And everyone and their mothers will be to try and take it. If you want to be the first to beat The Foundation and get the reward, you’ll have to fight other players for it.
Stock Up on Building Materials
The Foundation will have a lot of explosive weaponry with him. Getting hit by one of his attacks can be punishing. What you need is to establish a high ground and something to hide behind. A lack of any materials to build with can be a death sentence.
Equip Powerful Weapons
The Foundation has a pretty big health pool. It may take a while to beat him so you wouldn’t want to be unprepared. You’re going to need to bring out the big guns if you want to stand a chance against him.
Take Advantage of Other Players
You don’t necessarily need to be the one to pick a fight with The Foundation. Other players will be gunning after this member of the Seven. You can take advantage by ambushing them in the middle of a fight. Make sure to prioritize eliminating enemy players first before engaging The Foundation.
Fortnite Finding the Mighty Monument and Installing Surveillance Cameras
Fighting The Foundation isn’t the only thing you can do in the Sanctuary. Once you’ve been given a direct line to the Scientist, you’ll need to head over to the Mighty Monument located in the Sanctuary to install Surveillance Cameras.
Fortnite Where to Find the Mighty Monument
The Might Monument is hard to miss. This towering statue of The Foundation can be found on the Sanctuary to the east coast of the island. Beneath the statue lies a beach, you need to land on it to receive a call from the Scientist asking you to investigate the monument via planting some surveillance cameras.
Fortnite Installing Surveillance Cameras
Installing the cameras isn’t too difficult. You only need to install two of them located north and south of the Sanctuary respectively. Just be wary of other players and you should be just fine.
