    Update:

Halo Infinite’s free multiplayer mode is available now.

It was confirmed during Microsoft Xbox 20th anniversary event, Halo Infinite Multiplayer mode is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You can now play the game in standalone mode. Later today, Xbox Cloud Gaming users will also have access to it.

Season 1 of Halo Infinite multiplayer, which is scheduled to run until May next year, has begun three weeks early. Your multiplayer progress will carry over to Halo Infinite’s campaign official release on December 8th.

However, there will be a few missing features at launch. Because 343 Industries wanted to focus on the quality of the single-player and multiplayer modes, the campaign co-op and Forge modes will be released later.

In recent months, Microsoft and 343 Industries have held a few multiplayer test events, but now it is available to everyone. In Halo Infinite’s free multiplayer mode, all of Season 1’s maps, the battle pass, and the core game modes will be available.

    Original:

According to the latest rumor, Halo Infinite Multiplayer will begin on November 15th, coinciding with Xbox’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
Are there any surprises in store for the Xbox Anniversary celebrations that begins today?

Check out the Xbox 20th Anniversary Livestream below which starts at at 6:00 p.m. GMT / 10:00 a.m. PST.

Both will be celebrated with the release of the highly-anticipated next installment in the series. But Microsoft may have more planned for the Halo franchise as a whole.

    Halo Infinite Multiplayer Release Date

Halo Infinite will be released on December 8, 2021 to mark the franchise’s 20th anniversary which also happens to be today. Following the announcement, a rumor of an unexpected start time for Halo Infinite Multiplayer began, and many fans are asking this question right now.

New rumors claim that Halo Infinite Multiplayer will be available today November 15, 2021, ahead of the game’s December 8 release date. Although these reports are still unconfirmed, there is a chance that this will be proven correct during the Xbox Anniversary Livestream later.

It’s no surprise that Halo Infinite is one of the year’s most anticipated games. Several Twitter are also adding to this hype by saying that the game will indeed be available today “I can independently confirm and share with you today that Halo Infinite multiplayer will be available on Monday, November 15,” Nate the Hate, a popular YouTuber, tweeted.

What better way to celebrate the anniversary of the Xbox than with a birthday surprise.

I can independently confirm & share with you today that Halo Infinite multiplayer will be made available on Monday, November 15.

After this tweet, Twitter went into overdrive. Readers should proceed with caution because the game’s creators have yet to confirm or deny this report.

For those who missed it, here’s a Joe Staten quote during Gamescom 2021 August 25th on the world premiere of Halo Infinite: “It’s a big year and for this 20th anniversary we might have something a little special up our sleeves”.

The word “might” in this quote might suggests that no final decision had been made by them. This statement, however, takes on new significance now that we know what it could possibly mean.

A possible early release for the Halo Infinite Multiplayer was alluded to by Joe Staten so we have high hopes for it!

Lastly, Pablo Schreiber, who will play Master Chief in the upcoming Halo TV show, has hinted that “something very exciting” will take place on Monday, November 15.

The Official Halo website at this time of writing is just showing “Our services aren’t available right now We’re working to restore all services as soon as possible. Please check back soon.” Sooner than later? We hope so too.

Halo Infinite’s release is the best way to mark the Halo franchise’s 20th anniversary, and if the multiplayer will start today as a “surprise launch”, it would be fitting to commemorate Microsoft’s 20th anniversary as a gaming powerhouse alongside SEGA, Nintendo, and PlayStation.
